Baum NW

Four teams organized by graduation class, for baseball players ages 14–18.

Overview

Baum NW spans four teams organized by graduation class, offering invite-only national opportunities to baseball players ages 14–18. Teams are formed primarily by combining top PNW talent with select players from Hawaii and Arizona— markets we continue to recruit from—alongside our broader Futures network. Over the past two years, we've earned 87 wins, 10 first-place finishes, and a top-16 spot at the WWBA World Championships in Jupiter, FL. Most importantly, 24 seniors advanced to Division 1, with four drafted.

How we develop

Our national success stems from team practices and winter training, sharpening skills, and building commitment unlike "show-and-go" programs that skip group development. Open workouts through winter months are vital for navigating our schedule, enhancing tools, fixing flaws, and developing scout-valued traits. We continually refine Baum NW based on seasonal lessons learned.

Baum NW is not a full-time weekday or summer program. All players are required to be in good standing, active, and engaged with their home club when not with Baum NW for training or travel events.

Expectations

To reach elite levels, Baum NW expects daily focus on body, diet, skills, and studies. Baseball is more competitive than ever, with D1 spots harder to secure amid roster limits and scholarship constraints. NIL and full funding haven't changed much. Commitments now demand in-person evaluation. Division 1 baseball is a deeper, older, and more cutthroat landscape than it's ever been before. We seek players and families ready for the relentless pursuit of Division 1 and professional baseball.
