Southwest program · Year-round
SW Futures & SWF Academy
Two divisions within one program: athletes train together, while teams are built for top competitive play (SW Futures) and for developmental growth (SWF Academy).
SW Futures
SW Futures is a highly competitive program that requires commitment and dedication, providing selected players with all-inclusive training and team play programs offered year-round. SW Futures offers youth summer camps, fall ball programming, off-season small group training, and in-season team play. Our team play program competes locally and regionally in some of the most competitive tournaments around the Phoenix area.
Our program is designed to create an environment for children of all ages to thrive, compete, and excel through hard work and high expectations. Our program focuses on the process of development, as it takes time, detail, and patience. We will win through development and grow together year after year. No matter your child's age, we encourage him to dream, and dream big. We have a proven track record of assisting children toward their pursuit of baseball prowess leading up to the high school level and in many cases, beyond into collegiate and professional baseball.

SWF Academy
SWF Academy is the developmental branch of the SW Futures program. This program offers ball players an opportunity to develop through the same training and team play programs found within SW Futures. We recognize that not all players will be ready to compete at the highest possible level today but that does not mean they are not going to be ready for that experience tomorrow. This is where the SWF Academy program really thrives.
Inclusivity and development are the keys to the SWF Academy program. We commit to training every player in the SWF Academy to be the best they can be every day and to grow year in and year out within the game. Development takes time, every player is on their own timeline, and across the nation baseball itself doesn't even know who is going to be the next big league star.
SWF Academy exists to serve these players as long as it takes to reach their goals. We have seen incredible success stories over the years from players who have started from the developmental programs and rose through the ranks not only to SW Futures teams but also Baum Bat Scout teams, collegiate baseball, and even professional baseball. SWF Academy believes we must trust the process as long as it takes because every ball player who commits to the process deserves nothing less.
